The LHD Commute To Work
April 30, 2009 11:55 am AutosI remember talking to a gentlemen from England, he lived near Brighton Beach but worked in an office on the coast of France. I know of the differences with how cars are driven in the UK and in Europe so my next question to him was how he got to work everyday. He told me he had a car. I asked him how difficult it was switching sides of the road, then he told me he had a left hand drive vehicle he had bought in France. He said it was a little maddening at first having to drive to work and then taking a bus from his car to his home and from his home to his car. I agreed, however, he also told me that with the price of gas it was cheaper to take the bus home than to drive.
