Learning The Blues Scales This Weekend

I have been teaching myself how to play guitar on and off for about 2 months now.  So far it’s been going really well.  The first day I wanted to quit because everything felt ridiculous.  I couldn’t spread my fingers far enough apart to do the chords, and then they felt like they were going to bleed.  Nothing about that experience made me feel good.  However, I eventually figured some things out and wanted to know how to play blues.  I got online and found an amazing system that let me learn as I wanted to learn, on my own time. 

Getting Better As a Guitar Player

I love to listen to praise and worship music and I have the largest collection of anyone I know. The singing is beautiful, but my favorite part has always been the worship guitar. I really admire the folks that have learned to play their guitars so well. I am just starting out. I hope to get really good one day and even put out my own praise and worship CD. If I don’t ever get good enough though, I am happy just playing in my room and with my church group. Luckily, my mom and dad are really good players too!

Working the Industry as a Whole

I was watching TV with my wife the other night, and there was this story about this man who had started out as a magician and entertainer, and he was now making movies, selling books, and traveling all over the world.  His name is Randy Charach, and he is apparently a man of many hats.  He really reminds me of my old boss.  I told my wife that I thought that it would be a blast to work for him, because he is working in the entertainment industry as a whole, and not just one part of it.  I want to be like that.

Playing the Piano Inspires My Day

I wanted to play the Piano everyday but when I got promoted from my job, I seldomly play it. I miss my piano playing and my play piano dvd. It is difficult for me not to be inspired for the day especially when I heard some music. I have the itch to play it on the Piano. Well, as for now I can’t set aside a time for me to really venture on my hobby or habit. I have been dealing with this for over a time right now. I really miss my shinny piano with its black and white keys. So far, I can still hold my sanity.
