Conquering the Blues Guitar Scales

Arts No Comments

I am a self made guitar player. What I mean to say is that I am self taught, through books and by listening to others. This has worked out pretty good for me in my opinion. But since I mostly do solo stuff for myself, family, and friends I would like to learn the major blues scale. I know my songs would sound so much cooler with the incorporation of this scale. Finding information on the subject seems to be plentifully on the Internet. The formula for success is practice, practice, practice. I will devote at least one hour a day to this scale alone until mastered.

Learn Basic Italian

Italy’s official language is of course Italian. Standard Italian, which was adopted as the official language following the unification of the country in 1861, is based on the Tuscan dialect. Prior to unification, each region of the country had developed its own dialect (many of these dialects are still in use today), which although mutually intelligible, were distinct. Rocket Italian Learning a language is fun, so they say. It broadens your horizons and can engulf you in a totally new environment that previously may have passed you by. You would learn French or American the odds are more learned towards knowing Spanish. But you know one thing once you learn a Romantic language doors would fly open to learn another language of the same family.

People Just Keep Coming Back to the Smoky Mountain Nature

Within the boundries of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is Cades Cove.  An unusual but intriguing location to visit.  Ofttimes, during the peak time of year of mid-October, the visitors on the 11 mile one way Cove loop will come to a dead stand still at certain locations.  For the most part though, it doesn’t seem to annoy visitors.  No one appears to be in a tremendous hurry when they’re in the Cove.  It’s a certain wager that traffic will cease when a bear weaves into view. The Cove is invariably beautiful and perpetually dynamic. A splendid example of the Smoky Mountain nature.  If you arrive in early daybreak or are in that location at dusk you may encounter deer grazing with the cows. Or you might chance upon a black bear, its nose trying the gentle wind.  A red fox may yet cross the road directly in front of you or a loose turkey or two can be spotted going for cover.  I think that these are just a few of the reasons why people come back to Cades Cove again and again.

Beat Bodhran Drum

I invited a couple of friends to the house. They are not really fully aware of my interest for music. They always thought I am the type who does not hover around a new play list. Well, technically, not the new stuff that airs every minute on the radio but I do love music. But instead of the latest songs being played, I prefer to play some songs with my bodhran drum.  I had a bodhran drum; this one is given by my grandfather. The animal skin is a fantastic. Every time I play it. The bodhran drum gives me a sense of a different kind of beat. The music is fascinating.

Two easels that are classic

easels come and go in history, but two remain ingrained in our culture. Of these easels, the first one is called the Theodore. This was created back in the 13th century by King Howard. He loved to paint and asked all the best designers to send him their designs, as a contest. Once he chose the top easel, he claimed it as his own and named it after himself. The second of the great easels is called the Joseph. It was originally designed in Denmark. The Joseph is used by most painters in America today, although they don’t know it.
