I promised my students that I would run a marathon with them next year and I’m using medifast as part of my training. That is because I am pretty overweight and I don’t really want to be seen jogging all over my neighborhood looking that way. I will be much more psychologically motivated to continue training for this race if I am not self-conscious about how I look when I’m exercising. My students have been very supportive and we are doing a lot of the training exercises together. I was really worried with my youngest daughter because she used to be a victim of excessive eating, and it reached the point where she was morbidly obese.
