This is What She Had in Mind

It’s all well and good to memorize lists of words, learn to read sentences, and attempt to speak the language, but these things are useless without the ability to understand a native speaker when they talk. This is what marie claire riviere had in mind when she created the MegaAudio portion of her popular French series. In this interactive game, students are played a recording of a French person saying a word. They are then asked to choose the correct translation from among several pictures. They can choose any topic that they want to learn, and the result is a huge leap in their ability to comprehend the spoken word.
