Decorating Your Model Railway

Once you have established your layout, it time to get to what I consider the “fun stuff”.  Decorating your model railway really calls to task your imagination and creativity.  When deciding on scenery, keep in mind that you will be looking at this for years to come.  So, what is it that grabs your attention when you are out and about.  Do you like mountains, or maybe valleys, heavily wooded areas, or maybe city views.  All this you will take in to account when gather your materials.  Even if you are not an artist try sketching what your scene could look like.  Most importantly, have fun with your railroad.
