How to Avoid Getting a Computer Virus

Computer viruses are the bane of the Internet.  I think it is better to be safe than sorry, so I always keep my antivirus software up to date.  I am also very careful about what I download.  Most e-mail systems provide some basic security by blocking pictures and attachments.  I am always very cautious whenever I override these security precautions.  I also make back-up copies of my important files, in case the worst happens and I have to wipe my hard drive and reinstall my operating system  Computer viruses can cause havoc and ruin within your system.  By taking preventative measures, you can protect yourself.
